How do people live with anxiety at the moment?

I suffer from severe social phobia and agoraphobia. I have had these problems for quite a while now, but they are only getting worse. My doctor has told me that it is not something I can get rid of or cure, so I am trying to manage them as best I can.

The problem is that I feel like I cannot cope with life anymore because my anxiety makes me feel like I will collapse if I go out into public places such as shopping centers, restaurants, etc. It also affects how I deal with work. If I am in an interview, I feel like I will faint, and when I walk down the street, I feel like I might fall over due to dizziness.

It is very difficult for me to function normally in society. I try to keep myself busy working and studying, but sometimes I still feel anxious.

I would have tried to force myself to go outside and face my fears in the past. But recently, I have started to accept that I will never completely overcome my anxiety. So instead, I try to control it as much as possible. For example, I try to avoid situations where I know I will feel anxious. I try to plan so that I can prevent panic attacks. And I try to distract myself when I feel anxious.

When I was younger, I used to try to fight my fears. But now I realize that fighting doesn't work. I'm learning to let my fears take hold of me rather than pushing them away. This seems to make me more calm and relaxed.

I've noticed that most people who suffer from anxiety find that their worst times are usually alone. They feel afraid to leave their houses or go to certain shops. They become isolated from other people and lose touch with reality.

But I am lucky. The worst time for me is actually when I am around other people. Even though others surround me, I feel like I'm struggling to cope. I feel like everyone else's lives are perfect, while mine is falling apart.

So I guess the answer to "how do people live with anxiety" is: by accepting it!

When you are trying to relax, it is essential to look around you and notice the positive things happening. Look up, down, left, and right. Notice the beauty around you. It could be flowers, trees, clouds, a sunset, a beautiful person, a smiley face, etc.

It is okay to feel sad, angry, frustrated, scared, lonely, hurt, etc. There is no point in denying these emotions. Rather, accept them and learn to deal with them. For example, if you feel sad, acknowledge it and say, “I am feeling sad.” Then choose to do something about it. Do not dwell on the sadness, but instead, do something nice for yourself.

5. Be Aware Of Your Thoughts

Whenever you think about something negative, remember that thoughts create feelings. Therefore, if you are constantly thinking negatively, you will feel bad. Try to change your thoughts to positive ones. When you have an excellent thought, try to write it down. This way, you will see that you have been thinking positively.

Sometimes, when we are afraid of something, we become attached to it. We want it to stay the same. However, sometimes change is necessary. Change is inevitable. Trying to hold onto something that has altered makes us miserable.

Living in the present is only possible if you are happy. Happiness comes from within. You cannot force happiness upon yourself. But, if you make an effort to find ways to be happy, you will eventually succeed.
